Background

A process that only lives in someone’s head is a risk. A process nobody follows is just a document. Rebecca works the gap between the two.

She spent fifteen years and more in Big Tech implementing the internet applications that large organizations run on, across professional services, financial services, legal and information technology. That work is one long lesson in the same truth KPI is built on: the software is the easy part. Getting a team to adopt a new way of working, and keep doing it after the consultant leaves, is the hard part and the valuable one.

At KPI she leads process documentation, SOPs and training. She writes down how the work actually gets done, builds the checklists and standard operating procedures that make it repeatable, and trains the team so the new way sticks instead of sliding back to how it was. When the right tool helps it stick, she brings one in, which is why she put Trainual to work for onboarding and training that new hires can follow on day one.

That documented, systemized work is also what a business is worth. A company that runs from written procedures instead of the owner’s memory is easier to hand off, easier to scale and holds up when a buyer starts asking questions. Rebecca does not run deals. She builds the operational foundation that makes a business stronger to own now and more valuable when the owner is ready to sell.

What Rebecca works on

  • Turning tribal knowledge into SOPs and process documentation a new hire can actually follow.
  • The training and enablement that gets a team to adopt a new system, not just have it installed.
  • Process improvement: finding where the work breaks and fixing the step, not the symptom, then building it into a roadmap the team can work through.
