Free Business Value Snapshot
What is holding your business back from being worth more?
Ten questions, about three minutes. You will see how your business scores on the four things that decide what it is worth, the one holding your number back and what to do about it. No call required, and we will not chase you.
What the Snapshot shows you
The Business Value Snapshot is a ten-question read on the four things that decide what your business is worth, the same four a buyer, a bank and a successor all check: ownership, process, systems and proof. It returns a score out of 100, the single dimension holding your number back and a specific first step. It takes about three minutes and needs no call.
It is a snapshot, not a formal valuation. Think of it as a directional read on where your value stands and what is holding it back. And unlike most quizzes, it is built on the work KPI actually does, so the weakest dimension maps to a real next step, not a sales call.
What we measure
Four things. They are what a buyer, a bank and a successor all check, and together they decide what your business is worth.
01
Ownership
Does anyone other than you own a result, and would they be answerable if it missed?
02
Process
Is the work written down well enough that a competent person who has never done it could do it correctly?
03
Systems
Does the work run on systems, or on somebody’s memory and a spreadsheet they keep because they do not trust the software?
04
Proof
If a bank or a buyer asked for your numbers on Monday, could you hand them over and stand behind them?
Score low on one of these and we can tell you exactly what to do about it. That is the point of the exercise.
How it works
Answer ten questions honestly, see your score and the one dimension holding you back, and get a specific, bounded next step for it. Three minutes, no call, and the result is genuinely useful on its own.
01 ANSWER
Ten honest questions
About three minutes. Answer how it actually is, not how you would like it to be. If you are torn between two answers, pick the worse one. You already know which is true.
02 SEE THE WEAK LINK
Your score and the one thing to fix
A score out of 100, the four dimensions ranked, and the lowest one named plainly. The weakest link is what is holding the whole thing to you.
03 A REAL NEXT STEP
A bounded piece of work, not a sales call
Each dimension maps to one concrete thing we could do about it. You leave with a direction, whether or not you ever talk to us.
What you get
Here is exactly what the report looks like.
A real Value Snapshot report, generated the moment you finish. Yours will show your own score, the one dimension holding you back and the number on the table.
An example report. The numbers shown are illustrative.
Why this one is different
Anyone can write ten questions. This one is scored by the people who build the value and sell it.
Every owner-dependency quiz on the internet hands you a number and a nudge to book a call. This one is scored against the four things that decide what your business is worth, so the dimension you score lowest is not a curiosity. It is the specific thing holding your value back, and the first place we would start.
The number is not the point. The weakest of your four is, because that is the thing you fix next. See what forty-one engagements produced.
What is a good score?
The one that matters is not the total. It is the lowest of the four. A business rarely fails on all fronts at once, and knowing you scored a 61 tells you nothing you can act on. Knowing that your process is a 30 while everything else is fine tells you exactly what to do next, and roughly what it will cost you not to.
So we will not hand you an average to measure yourself against. Other people’s businesses are not your problem. The weakest of your four is.
Built on 41 real engagements
The four dimensions are not a theory. They are the four ways every business KPI has worked inside since 2022 stayed stuck to one person, and the four things we do about it.
Before you start
Is this going to put me on a call list?
You get your score and your result. If you want to talk to us, there is a button. If you do not, we will leave you alone. The assessment is genuinely useful on its own, which is the only reason anybody would ever recommend it to anyone.
How long does it take?
About three minutes. Ten questions, one screen each, no long forms. We ask for your name and email up front so we can send your result, and that is it.
How honest should I be?
Completely, because nobody else is reading it. The most common thing owners do is answer how they would like it to be rather than how it is, and then wonder why the result is useless. If you are torn between two answers, pick the worse one. You already know which is true.
Why is it free?
Because the businesses we can help are the ones who find out they have a problem they can name. If the assessment tells you that you are in good shape, that is a fine outcome and it cost us nothing. If it tells you something is broken, you will want it fixed, and we would like to be on the list.
